About Me: I started on a Fat Chance hardtail after college, as a way to get my dog exercise. I fell in love with it and made it a huge part of my life. Now I love all different disciplines!
Why do I like Coaching? I love passing on my passion for the sport to others. There’s nothing like watching people progress. I love the smiles when they accomplish something that has frustrated them in the past.
One thing most people don’t know about you: before biking, I competed in USTA Tennis.
Why do I love Highland? How can you not love Highland? There’s so much diverse terrain in one area. It shows that everyone who helped build the park has such an immense passion for riding. I also love the community, friends, and amazing energy it creates.
Music: All kinds except country, well, I may like a little Willie Nelson at times. The Roots is one of my favorite groups.
Best riding experience: Some of the most memorable were when Highland was first being built. We used to ride new trails that were just being built, with good friends. My dog, grizzly, would follow us up the mountain as we rode the lift. Good times, great friends, and awesome riding!
What do you hate? Household centipedes. Yuck!
